Audit-ready water safety compliance for Australian healthcare facilities

We help dental practices, medical clinics, allied health providers and aged care facilities meet their AS-5369 water testing obligations — from working out what applies to you, through to NATA-accredited results and an audit-ready report. Why practices choose us

Compliance handled, start to finish.

We're not just a kit in a box. We help you understand your obligations, choose the right tests, and deliver results in a format your auditor actually wants to see.

01 — We help you scope Not sure what applies to you? AS 5369:2023 references several tables — covering washer-disinfectors, autoclaves and routine monitoring. We start with a free 15-minute call to confirm exactly which tests apply to your setup, so you don't over-test or under-test.
02 — Two ways to work with us Self-serve or fully managed. Order a kit online and your team collects the sample in ten minutes — or have our technician visit and handle it end to end. Same NATA-accredited analysis, same audit-ready report. You choose the model that fits your practice.
03 — Audit-ready documentation Results you can file with confidence. Every result is benchmarked against the applicable standard — AS 5369:2023, AS/NZS 3666 or ADA Guidelines — and formatted for your compliance folder. Not a raw data spreadsheet, but documentation ready for your next accreditation review.
04 — One partner, end to end No accounts, no coordination. Sample collection, NATA-accredited laboratory analysis, compliance reporting and technical advice — all under one roof. No lab accounts to set up, no couriers to chase, no separate invoices. We manage the whole chain.

Select Your Practice Type

Water safety compliance obligations apply to any healthcare facility that reprocesses reusable instruments, operates dental chairs, or houses vulnerable residents in a shared water system. Select your facility type below to see exactly what applies to you.

Dental practices have two separate water compliance obligations — the water flowing through your dental chairs during patient treatment, and the water used to rinse and sterilise instruments in your sterilisation room. Both are mandatory under different standards.

Chair Water Test One sample per dental chair — each chair is an independent water circuit
Quarterly
Monthly Sterilisation Room Monitoring Chemistry parameters — one sample covers your whole practice
Monthly
Annual Sterilisation Room Audit Full parameter screen including endotoxins, metals and microbiology
Annually

Residential aged care facilities have two water safety obligations — monthly monitoring of tap water from nominated high-risk outlets for Legionella, HPC and temperature, and sterilisation room water testing if instruments are reprocessed on-site. Both require NATA-accredited documentation for the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission.

Legionella & HPC Tap Water Monitoring Legionella culture, Heterotrophic Plate Count and temperature logging — Essential (5 pts), Standard (10 pts) or Campus (20 pts)

Sterilisation Room Water Testing If instruments are reprocessed on-site — AS 5369:2023

On demand

Cooling tower testing is outside our current scope — contact us if cooling towers are present at your facility.

Why it matters

Not all lab results are equal.

If your practice is ever audited, inspected or subject to a complaint, a NATA-accredited laboratory report is the difference between defensible documentation and having nothing. A result only becomes a compliance record when it is issued by a NATA-accredited laboratory, benchmarked against the applicable Australian standard, and formatted for your audit file.

Government recognised NATA is the body the Australian Government endorses for laboratory accreditation. That endorsement is what gives a test result standing with regulators and accreditation bodies.
Audit-ready documentation Our reports explicitly reference the applicable Australian standard and regulatory limits — exactly what an auditor or accreditation reviewer needs to see in your records.
Protection if things go wrong If a complaint or incident is ever investigated, documented NATA-accredited results are your evidence of due diligence. Data without accreditation is not.
